The Boreal Centre would like to thank the following organizations for their continued support of our operations.
The Northern Environmental Action Team has been instrumental in much of the ongoing work being accomplished at the Boreal Centre. NEAT has supplied The Boreal Centre with helpful workers to assist with several projects around the property, including the Moberly Community Orchard, Forest Botanicals Interpretive Trail, and our Northern Haskap Growth Trials.
The Tansi Friendship Centre Society is a strong supporter of community initiatives in Chetwynd. They provide free health and social programs to meet the needs of Native and non-Native peoples either coming to, or currently living in, Chetwynd, BC and surrounding communities. They have been helpful in The Boreal Centre's recent Community Food Security survey , allowing us to gather important information for our future planning efforts.
